Combined undergraduate/postgraduate degreeWe’re one of the few universities in Australia that offers a medicine degree at an undergraduate level. You’ll enter our combined program as an undergraduate student and graduate with both a bachelor’s degree and the Doctor of Medicine. After completing the six-year program, you’ll be eligible for provisional registration with the Medical Board of Australia and be ready to commence the next phase of your career.Progressive clinical exposureImmerse yourself in hands-on learning with patient interactions from year one. Practical training and scenario-based learning will build your confidence as a healthcare professional, allowing you to become an innovative clinician who is proficient in teamwork.Research skills and experienceIn your fourth year, you’ll complete either an Independent Learning Project (ILP) or honours year on a topic of your choice. Research enhances your employability, widens your knowledge as a clinician and opens doors to career opportunities beyond clinical practice, like medical research.
