The University of Charleston is a small, private university located in the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia on the banks of the Kanawha River. We are dedicated to our mission of educating our students for a life of enlightened living, productive work, and community involvement. Our in-seat and online degree programs are student-focused and of high quality, leading to tremendous success for our alumni.
The University of Charleston is located along the Kanawha River, just minutes from downtown Charleston. Our campus is directly across the river from the State Capitol Complex.
