Program Overview

The 6-year English-language study program in Medicine at UMCH offers a holistic introduction to all fields, skills, and abilities relevant to the profession, including basic knowledge about bodily functions, human pathology, diagnostics, therapy, prevention, and rehabilitation, as well as communication skills. Students can choose from a wide range of compulsory elective subjects and participate in clinical internships in Germany-wide UMCH teaching hospitals or in Targu Mures. The program is accredited by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and recognized by the EU Professional Qualification Directive. Upon graduation, students can apply for a medical specialty in Germany.
